The logical
framework approach is a method required by many donors – among others
the European Commission - for planning projects and preparing funding
proposals.
But first of all it is a method that improves the quality of projects
in terms of effectiveness, accountability and sustainability.
Accountable and effective projects demand the involvement of all
stakeholders with appropriate means. The project aim, objectives,
results and activities need to be carefully defined and formulated.
Project evaluation must be prepared in the planning phase, and
unforeseen risks contained through risk analysis. The logical
framework approach is providing a set of working instruments for that.
Pharos is offering tailormade training seminars for project managers,
co-ordinators and staff. Pharos trainer Ingrid Halbritter has been
managing development projects in Southeast Europe since 1997 and has
been working in adult education since many years.
